One of the features I enjoyed from ecobee (and previously nest) is that based on outside temp they would start heating the house early so that it would reach the specified temp at the set time.
I have 5 pucks and my dns server says they have looked up api.flair.co over 900,000 times in the last 90 days. I have one gateway puck. Can't you have the gateway cache this for a while?
