  Do you have any updates on 8 x 14 vents? This is the most upvoted and active thread on the forums (outside of local control).

• You aren't necessarily restricting 25% of the airflow by using a smaller vent and trim kit. Most 8x14" vents (not all) are fed by an 8" round duct.

• I will vouch for Empyrean3d. I have ordered a couple of their trim kits and they worked well. Customer service was great working through a couple of issues with me too.

• Is the term hvacOS new? I don't remember seeing reference to that in older materials.

• The puck is not a thermostat even if it looks a lot like one. A thermostat is the device controlling your HVAC system. If you have one thermostat in your home, you will have one zone, 2 thermostats...
