Google Nest Device Access – Flair

As most of us are aware, Google Nest Works with Google Assistant breaks the current integration. For users like me who grandfathered the Works with Nest, we've kept our Nest accounts.
However today, Google announced their new subscription plans for Nest Aware, which only works with a Google account. As a user with many cameras, it's a significant cost difference. This however would break Flair integration.
I looked into it and I see Works With Google Assistant intends to provide something called "Device Access" which sounds like the replacement to Works with Nest we've all been waiting for. Is Flair looking into this? I tried searching but couldn't find anything about it.

Hello Everyone,
Now that Nest is accepting new integration partners again, we are actively working on re-integrating with Nest. We don't have an exact timeline for Nest’s review of our integration, but stay tuned and we'll update you as soon as it's available!
Meanwhile you can use your Nest with Flair as a non-integrated thermostat, then switch it to an integrated thermostat later when Nest integration is available.
All the best,
The Flair Team

Hi Viet,
We signed up for Device Access the first day the sign up form was available. To date, we have unfortunately received no communication from the Google Nest team.
We encourage users to contact Google Nest customer support to voice their concerns about the delays with the Works with Google Assistant platform.

Thank you for the prompt reply and for having already taken the initiative! I'm glad to see such a responsive team is working on Flair and is already working on such matters. It sounds like they'll start Device Access later this year so hopefully they'll reach out soon.

Hi Viet,
If you do convert your Nest account to a Google account, your Nest thermostat will still work with Flair as a non-integrated thermostat.
You can read more about it here:

All the best,

What information have you heard about Nest Aware subscriptions?? I haven't seen anything yet. I converted to the Google account already, so maybe that is why I haven't heard anything yet??

Go to manage your nest aware subscription and they'll offer it. I read about the change on reddit.

Search Nest and SmartThings integration, you can still integrate your nest with SmartThings even after migrated to Google, and use the existing Flair integration with SmartThings as well.

Any update on your integration with Nest Thermostats?
Looks like the DAC program is publicly available: https://developers.google.com/nest/device-access/project
And also looks like they have public documentation of the APIs: https://developers.google.com/nest/device-access/api/thermostat

Any update on this integration? I updated my Nest account without realizing the issue and now my pucks are useless. I don’t have the vents I just was using them as remote sensors.

Flair Customer Support any update on this? I've been able to test the API on some personal projects and it works great. I see https://www.brilliant.tech/home also just re-implemented their nest support with the new api.
