Home Statistics – Flair

View Flair Graphs

To view data for your entire Flair home, tap the Flair menu and go to Home Statistics.

To view data for a specific room, tap the 3-dot menu on the room tile and select Stats.

Check Signal Strength

To view signal strength, tap the "Graph Data" menu and select "RSSI dB".

We generally want to see RSSI values above -85dB.(For some older Gateway Pucks, the signal strength may display as zero.) If you see devices going offline, you'll want to improve the RF signal.

In the graph below, the Vents with signal strength below -85dB may experience connectivity issues and appear offline intermittently.

Improve Signal Strength

If you notice Flair devices going offline, Vents not opening/closing, or mini splits not responding to commands, check the signal strength of your Flair devices.

Generally, these RSSI readings need to be above -85dB for reliable operation and connectivity.

To improve RF signal strength to Sensor Pucks and Smart Vents:

To improve the WiFi signal to a Gateway Puck or a Bridge:

Move the Gateway Puck or Bridge closer to the router to improve the signal strength. Keep in mind that large metal objects or other devices that communicate on a similar frequency can interfere with the WiFi signal to the Gateway Puck. You can experiment with the placement of the Gateway Puck to get the best WiFi signal.

Note: moving a Gateway Puck or Bridge can affect the RF signal to other Smart Vents and Sensor Pucks.

Change Parameters

To view a different data set, tap "Graph Data" and select a data set.

Tap "Start Time" and "End Time" to change the time period for the data.

Tips: Flair will show a maximum of two months of data; specifically from two months ago until "now". Flair extrapolates data for periods larger than two hours. Meaning, that you'll see the most data within two hours.

Bridge Data

RSSI (dB) displays signal strength. A WiFi-connected Bridge will display WiFi signal strength. An Ethernet-connected Bridge will display a value of zero.

Puck Data

RSSI (dB): displays signal strength. A Gateway Puck will display WiFi signal strength. A Sensor Puck will display RF (radio frequency) signal strength to its connected hub (Bridge or Gateway).

Connected Bridge/Gateway Puck: displays the hub the Sensor Puck is connected to via RF.

Smart Vent Data

Connected Bridge/Gateway Puck: displays the hub the Smart Vent is connected to via RF.

Smart Thermostat and Remote Sensor Data

If you are using an integrated smart thermostat, you can view room temperature, humidity, and occupancy data for the thermostat and its remote sensors.
