Remote Sensor Room Assignment – Flair
During Setup, when integrating an ecobee or Honeywell smart thermostat, Flair will automatically import any remote sensors associated with the smart thermostat and ask what room they should be assigned to.
After Setup, there are two ways to change the room assignment.
Via the Thermostat Settings
- In the Flair app, tap the Main Menu button
- tap Home Settings
- tap HVAC Systems
- tap the smart thermostat the room sensors are paired with
- tap the "Remote Sensors" tab
- tap the Remote Sensor whose location you wish to update
- tap the Location field
- You can assign it to an existing room or create a new Flair room.
Via the Room Settings
- In the Flair app, tap the 3-dot menu on the room tile and go to Settings
- Select Devices
- Expand "Remote Sensors"
- Check the remote sensors to use in this room
In this example, a remote sensor named, "Rec Room" is assigned to the Bedroom.
