Control Bar – Flair

Control Bar Overview

The control bar appears at the top of the Flair app and allows users to control certain system-wide settings related to their Flair Home. These are detailed below.

Home/Away

Tap to manually set your Flair home to home (you're there) or away (you're not there). When set to Away, Flair will obey the Away Settings you have configured. Read more in Home/Away Mode and Away Settings.

Weather

Displays the current weather based on your zip code (within the USA) or city (outside of the USA). Flair uses Open Weather to provide weather data. If you see "no weather data", check to see that your city or zip is supported by Open Weather. If not, you can choose a nearby city or zip code that is supported.

Home Set Point

Controls your default home set point. This will not appear if you're using an integrated smart thermostat and have Set Point Controller set to Thermostat. This home set point is applied to rooms when they do not have an associated schedule event or user hold in place.

System

Auto: uses Flair's advanced automation to control your Flair home.

Manual: does not use any automation and displays widgets to control your devices manually.

Mode

Tap Mode to change the current mode. Options are Heat, Cool, Auto Heat/Cool, and Off.

Schedule

Tap to create, use, and manage Schedules.
