The Flair Static Pressure Kit is a Pro-only accessory for Flair’s Smart Vent Zoning and Air Balancing solutions that monitors air pressure in real time. It includes a differential pressure sensor, tubing, and magnetic probe tips for quick, hassle-free installation.
WHY DO I NEED IT?
As Smart Vents open and close to balance airflow room by room, air pressure can rise. The Static Pressure Kit prevents equipment strain by detecting excess pressure and signaling the system to respond by adjusting vent behavior, ensuring optimal comfort, and energy efficiency, while protecting the HVAC equipment to operate within their static pressure limit.

Powered by hvacOS™, these Smart Vent Solutions intelligently manage airflow and pressure in ducted systems—ensuring safe operation while dynamically balancing temperature and demand room by room.
Entry Level
- Designed for: Homeowners who want quick, cost-effective comfort improvements.
- Setup: Simple, app guided, and wireless. No HVAC experience required.
- Performance: Increased comfort with system-level equipment protection using Flair’s One-Third Rule*.

Pro
Designed for: Pro-installed systems with real-time equipment safety and comfort zoning.
- Setup: Includes Flair Bridge Pro and Static Pressure Kit; no wire pulls or changes to ductwork needed.
- Performance: Optimized comfort through real-time static pressure monitoring to protect HVAC systems and maximize ability to manage airflow room-by-room.
Pro+ | COMING SOON
- Designed for: Advanced HVAC systems (especially with variable-speed air handlers)
- Setup: Everything in Solution 2 + fan speed control.
- Performance: Maximizes energy savings and comfort by adjusting fan speed in response to system load and desired zoning behavior.
What You Need:
Smart Vents
All Solutions: Replace as few or as many vents as you need with Flair Smart Vents. Measure and count the vent sizes in rooms where you want intelligent airflow.
Room Sensor
All Solutions: In every room with Smart Vents, you’ll need a: Flair Puck, OR integrated Smart Thermostat (ecobee, Honeywell [Wi-Fi], Nest, Carrier Infinity, or Bryant Evolution), OR ecobee or Honeywell room sensor (room sensors must be paired with the same brand of thermostat).
Bridge
Required for Entry Level Solution: serves as the central networking device.
Optional for Pro Solutions: a Bridge can enhance range in large or complex homes and enables Ethernet setup when the Bridge Pro isn’t placed near a wired internet connection.
Bridge Pro
Required for Pro Solutions: to monitor static pressure and optionally control air handler fan speed (Pro+).
Static Pressure Kit
Required for Pro Solutions: to monitor air pressure inside ductwork in real time.
